Daniele 29th October 2021

Thank you Neil Gamble for this beautiful tribute to our dad. Dear Daniele Were were much saddened to learn of Tony’s recent untimely death, and wish to express to Jan, you and your family our deepest condolences at your very sad loss. We have the fondest memories of our friendship with Tony and Jan who were such good neighbours during our eleven years at Exeter School. Every December we had a Christmas lunch outing for management and support staff, when I had the opportunity to thank those who actually made the school tick! The constant display of love, care and attention to detail shown by the team was typified by the way Tony committed himself to his role and we remain ever grateful for what he did for Exeter School and for Sue and me. On a particularly personal note, in the year before we retired, we bought a house in Sidford that required much work. Most kindly, Tony helped Sue to organise the hiring of various specialists to undertake the refurbishment, and ensured that all the work was done to the highest standards. We remain so appreciative of all his efforts to ensure that the property was fully fit for purpose, and the Orchard has been a real home for us and our family for eighteen years. Tony was a real family man of total loyalty, high principles and great character whose generosity of spirit knew no bounds. He will be very much missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Again strongest sympathies. Yours sincerely, Neil and Sue
